Great way to turn on lights, and other equipment, on your boat before ever boarding.
Anyone who has boarded or de-boarded a boat at night will recognize the importance
of being able to remotely turn on or off boat lights. The Aqua Signal Wireless Remote
Control system is designed to work with lights that draw less than 5-10 amps from
a distance of 50 yards. The receiver works with Aqua Signal or other lights, which
will make boarding and de-boarding in the dark a thing of the past. Each remote
control system is unique and will not work with other systems. In the event of a
lost transmitter (fob), the replacement fob can be programmed to work with the installed
receiver.
The system is composed of two units, a transmitter (fob) and a receiver. The receiver
is mounted in the boat, and the floatable remote transmitter (fob) is carried with
the operator. The receiver operates on 12 volt DC systems. The receiver is capable
of switching 10 amps and has a standard automotive in line 10-amp fuse for protection.
The receiver can be used with up to four transmitters.
The fob is watertight and floats. It has two buttons which control two different
functions. The smaller button is an on/off button, and is marked with the universal
on/off symbol. Press this button and the light or lights attached to the remote
are turned either on or off. In the event the fob is lost or misplaced, additional
fobs are available and can be programmed by the consumer to work with the existing
receiver.
