Monterey Dorade
in Fiberglass These handcrafted Dorade boxes maintain airflow
below deck while keeping rainwater & spray out. A beautiful addition to
any boat. Available in solid teak, white gel coated fiberglass or unfinished
primer-coated fiberglass, ready for painting.
- Teak dorades are made with high-grade Burmese 3/4" thick teak with
epoxied, biscuited joints for superior strength
- Bodega and Chesapeake models include baffles while the Newport and
Monterey models are designed to be used in conjunction with a mushroom
vent that becomes the water trap
- Fiberglass models available in white gel coat finish or primer coated
for owner finishing.
- Hand laid, polyester resin fiberglass dorade.
- Mounting hardware is included
- Fasteners sold separately
- Compact size is designed for tight areas on deck where ventilation
is desired below
- All dorade boxes are pre-drilled for easy deck plate* installation.
- The Monterey dorade has no baffle, designed for use with a low profile
mushroom vent which acts as a water trap.
- Weep holes will be added by the installer for water drainage. (See
