Protect and preserve the investment in your boat.
Polyform is the oldest inflatable buoy and fender manufacturing company in the
world, and they invented the product, making the Polyform name the most recognized
in the world. The quality of their fenders and buoys is consistent with less than
0.5% of all of their products failing in the field, and they offer the widest selection
of sizes and colors in the marine industry.
The A series mooring buoy is the #1 selling buoy in the world, the F series fenders
are the most common fenders seen on yachts 60 and up, the G series fender design
is the most copied utility fender on the market and is considered the standard for
this product class. The HTM (Hole Through Middle), or "Line-Thru" fender style is
the only one of its kind to have reinforced tube ends, the NF series fenders are
a great low-cost, twin-eye fender designed with the boater in mind, and all of the
fender series are equipped with a Polyform valve that outlasts any other inflatable
valve on the market.
Polyforms A series (for moorings) & the LD (Low Drag) buoy are the commercial
fisherman's choice and are the ones that are used by the fishermen on the TV show
The Deadliest Catch.
From their large inflatable mooring buoys to their smaller low drag buoys that
are perfect for lobster pots, you will see them being used all over the water as
more and more commercial fishing ventures discover the unique properties of these
wonderful fenders.
Polyform fenders and buoys are virtually indestructible, but in the unlikely
event that you somehow manage to puncture one, we even have a patch kit that is
available to fill holes and tears to keep these buoys inflatable.
When you are away from the dock, fender holders are the perfect way to store
your boat's fenders, and the connectors that Polyform manufactures are specifically
designed to make mounting the holders securely in place an easy and simple task.
Fender Guide
The
Polyform Fender Guide is to be used as a general guide. Common sense as well
as an understanding of your boat and mooring conditions must be considered. The
final responsibility has to be taken by the consumers due to the many variables
out of Polyform's control.
Fendering Tips
- Always hang fenders so they just touch the surface of the water
- Tie fenders to a stanchion base, deck cleat or along toe rail
- Avoid hanging fenders from lifelines, this puts too much stress
