The Sea Joule Automatic Solar Rechargeable Bilge Pump is perfect for an inflatable or small open boat left at anchor or on the beach. This compact, battery operated, self-contained bilge pump lives in the bottom of a dinghy or other small craft. A float switch inside the unit detects water is collecting around it. The pump activates, and pumps the water out through a "discharge outlet, which is connected to a drain hose. The Sea Joule Solar Bilge has a solar panel mounted to the top of the enclosure, which maintains the battery at peak condition when exposed to sunlight.
This small solar powered bilge pump can keep your dinghy dry, or at least stop it from filling up with rainwater. By including a solar charger (1.2W) and small automatic pump with float switch and a ¾ inch discharge hose, any water in the dinghy is detected and pumped overboard.
