Wichard ORC Safety Tether

These new Wichard ORC Elastic Safety Tethers comply with ORC regulations applicable to ocean racing.  Fitted with two double action safety hooks and a  quick opening snap shackle on the harness side. Provides great freedom of movement; internal elastic retracts webbing to avoid catching on deck hardware, plus a 1 meter second non-elastic tether with a third hook. Ideal design, since short leg is available for clipping in when at the helm or working on deck, while the elasticized leg is always connected to jackline. Automatic overload indicator alerts the wearer when the tether has been stressed beyond it's maximum load and should be replaced.
