Got the second part of the order.  One is installed.  With the liner and new corners, the first mate has declared it "perfect."  (I used two 40 and two 50 corners to have the liner fit snug.)  FYI, the taller liner was 4.75" Thanks for the fast service.

Thanks for the investigative reporting on the Dahon P3 bike. I know that you must have spent many minutes on hold and dealing with clueless clerks to find out what happened with the order. The bike will not do me much good this Monday morning in my travels but I am sure it will be incredibly useful for other trips in the future. In fact, this bicycle will probably get to Denver about the day I return next week. The price and the service from your company are the finest and I recommend you for a gigantic raise in salary for tracing all this information and letting me know exactly what is going on from the vendor, in this case, the Dahon bicycle company who, if word gets out, will be overwhelmed with orders for their products.

Unwrapped  the bike (they do do it up proper!) and found it was a Mariner!! Apparently they are substituting Mariner's for Boardwalks at the end of the model year.  Yea!

Price was as described--less than the authorized $255 at $240 so you demonstrated your integrity in charging only for the quoted bike plus actual shipping.

Adjusted, read the manuals (no local bike mechanic better'n me), rode the bike last night, keeps up with the neighbor's 27 speed urban pot-hole jumper, you were right---needed the 6 speed, one speed  would have been too limiting even for a veteran fixed gear rider with pretty good legs---though those rear horizontal drop-outs.....hmmm....

shoot me a price on a D1 Boardwalk please...may yet do a folding "fixie"
