Application Details - Epifanes Rubbed Effect Varnish
||Satin finishing coat for interior woodwork. Applied over several build up
coats of Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish, Epifanes Wood Finish Gloss or Epifanes
Polyurethane Clear Gloss, provides maximum durability, clarity and depth. Household
or marine. Softwood or hardwood. Cabin interior, cabin sole. Doors and trim.
||Hard satin finish. Good scratch and scuff resistance. Impervious to most
onboard chemicals. Easy to apply.

||Conventional air: Thin as needed up to 15% with Epifanes Spray Thinner for
Paint & Varnish. Spray viscosity 20 - 24 seconds Din Cup 4. 16 - 20 seconds
Ford Cup 4. Nozzle 1.5 mm - 1.8 mm. Pressure 2 - 3 Bar.
||Epifanes Accelerator, Epifanes Retarder
||Temperature should be between 50F. and 85F. during application. Air humidity
below 85%. Avoid varnishing in too much wind or sun. Any existing finish must
be intact, degreased and sanded prior to recoating. Before applying each coat,
degrease the surface with Epifanes Spray Thinner For Paint & Varnish or
denatured alcohol. Use a tack cloth to remove dust particles prior to application.
Always stir Epifanes Rubbed Effect Interior
Varnish before using . Failure to
do so may result in an uneven or blotchy finish. Some settling of the formulation
may occur upon long standing.
