The patented Cool’n Dry dorade and cowl system has a baffle between the exterior air intake and the interior air feed to keep small water droplets from entering with the incoming air. Water ingested through the air intake flows over the baffle and drains out through the bottom of the dorade, while air continues to flow into the cabin through the baffle. When heavy rain or waves enter the cowl, the weight of the water activates a damper that shuts down the baffle, preventing water intrusion. As the water recedes, the damper lifts automatically and air begins to flow again. In heavy seas or extreme weather, the damper can be closed manually with simple finger pressure.
The new "Cool'n Dry" dorade box brings the answer: its exclusive patented system provides constant ventilation inside the boat, even in very bad weather conditions.

                - Continuous ventilation: when sailing, on a mooring or wintering, the dorade box remains constantly open.

                - No water entry, thanks to the exclusive shut-off system, which closes automatically in the event of a heavy rain or very strong wave.

                - Manual closing by simple finger pressure.

                - Rugged, weatherproof construction: soft PVC vent and ABS dorade box, both UV-treated.
