The Lofrans Falkon is ideal for large cruising vessels that
anchor frequently with heavy offshore, all chain ground tackle. The Lofrans
Falkon horizontal windlass is made of a special seawater-resistant light
alloy and finished in polished anodized or white polyester coating for added
protection. The Lofrans Falkon comes standard with a powerful 1500 watt
dual-direction motor allowing the anchor to be released electrically as
well as manually. A convenient sight glass allows easy visual inspection
of oil level. The rope drum can be used independently of gypsy. Supplied
with watertight control box, two footswitches, chainwheel and manual override
handle.
