While many of our tanks are supplied with a fittings package, you may wish to select additional fittings to optimize your tank for a particular installation.
We have a comprehensive range of nylon fittings to be used only on NAUTA® tanks. Each type of fitting is comprised of 3 parts which together with the rubber seal and the rubber coated fabric ensure a leak-proof union. Before installing your fittings you should determine their most suitable location on the tank wall. Generally fill fittings and vent fittings (required on holding or gas tanks but not required on water), should be positioned at the higher end of the tank, while draw fittings are best located at the lower end. Under no condition should fittings be installed on the bottom side of the tank. All fittings should be installed in the top half of the tank and not closer than 4” to the edge and never through a seam doubler.
